Technology
Lead by our team of Technology Instructors with a Bachelors in (BA) Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience. Exergaming and other technologies are used to improve skill acquisition and teach students how to navigate technological tools used in everyday life. Through Virtual Reality(VR), students practice skills in a simulated environment that might otherwise be too dangerous or unavailable. VR can build a bridge between how a child experiences the world today and their potential.
Goals
Our Technology program focuses on building skills that help children with their daily interactions in a safe and stress-free environment. The goals of Technology are:
Learning sports through exergaming.
New ways of playing music through computers, virtual instruments, and keyboards.
Artistic expression through computers.
Students can learn how to play popular games their peers are playing, learn vocational skills, and Internet safety.
