Our Recreational Therapy program is run by our experienced licensed Recreational Therapist. Our recreational therapy program provides an inclusive approach to health leisure skills. Recreational therapy uses leisure activities to help children improve their skills, abilities and well-being. In recreational therapy, children work on 4 fundamental functions: cognitive, physical, emotional and social. Rec therapists have expertise in many different types of activities. Some of the activities that may be part of a recreational therapy program include:

The goals of our Recreational Therapy Program include:
- Increase a child’s balance, gross motor play and motor planning through open free play and structured classes.
- Teach children active play skills and cultivate a joy for movement.
- Promoting self-confidence in a fun and active way.
- Increase resiliency and perseverance.
- Improve reaction time and memory.
- Decreases in behaviors, hyperactivity, aggression, self-injury, and destructiveness.
- Increase socialization skills through groups such as yoga, adaptive sports, games, boxing, dance and more.
