We Are Committed To Your Health And Safety

Our top priority at LifeLab Kids is the health and safety of our team, students and families. In an effort to maintain an environment centered around health and wellness, we have implemented a number of safety policies and procedures as we continue to provide essential services for our students.

COVID Related Safety Changes

Temperature Screening
R

All individuals coming into the building will have their temperature checked.

R

Staff member(s) and/or clients that display fever and/or other signs of COVID-19 will be asked to go home immediately and will not be able to return until they have been fever free for at least 48 hours without medication.

R

All LLK staff will undergo COVID-19 testing to confirm negative results before returning to work after displaying a fever.

Hand Washing Practices

R

All individuals coming into the building will be required to sanitize their hands with soap and water or sanitizer.

R

Washing hands frequently throughout the day is required.

Social Distancing

R

Social distancing between groups in public spaces is required.

Face Coverings

R

All individuals in the building are required to wear a mask or shield.

Limited Contact Pick-up and Drop-up
R

Therapists will pick up clients from car and bring client back to car at the end of treatment.

R

Parents are to remain in their cars while clients receive treatment.

Deep-Clean and Sanitation Measures (Weekly)

R

PPE’s are worn during sanitation.

R

All trash and debris are discarded.

R

High and low dusting.

R

Beginning from the farthest point from entry door, wet wiping occurs on all high touch hard surfaces from top to bottom, including any other items.

Kitchen and break room surfaces are disinfected.

R

Hard surface flooring thoroughly wet mopped.

R

Special concentration on these items:

Doorknobs and handles

Light switches

Stairwell handrails

Disinfectant products used are of hospital grade and will stay wet for the specified amount of contact time needed to kill all germs.

UV-C lights and Photocatalyst ionizers to kill bacteria, viruses, reduces odors, and freshen air have been placed throughout the entire center.

Confirmed COVID-19 Case Protocol

R

All staff members and current LLK families who have been in close contact* will be notified immediately via phone and email.

R

Each family will be given the opportunity to make their own decision on continuing services at LLK. Should families decide to pause their services, all fees will be waived.

R

Anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 will remain in quarantine for at least 10 days and until they are free of symptoms and confirmed with their doctor that they should be able to return to LLK.

R

Fully vaccinated staff** who are asymptomatic will not be required to quarantine per CDC guidelines. They will continue to monitor for symptoms.

*Someone who has been within 6 feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period. An infected person can spread SARS-CoV-2 starting from 2 days before they have any symptoms (or, for asymptomatic patients, 2 days before the positive specimen collection date).

**Fully vaccinated staff are defined as those who have had 2 weeks pass following receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series, or ≥2 weeks following receipt of one dose of a single-dose vaccine.
