Music is used to motivate, inspire, and encourage students to explore their creativity, which can help develop creative problem solving skills that will help them navigate everyday experiences. The role of a music therapist is to help facilitate musical experiences that promote growth and development, as well as plan treatment in collaboration with different therapists as part of the disciplinary team.
